Laura Bailey, FNP
Laura has been working in our IR practice since 2013. She went to college at SUNY Brockport (graduated in 2003), received her nursing degree from Albany Memorial Hospital (graduated in 2006), and received her FNP masters from SUNY IT (graduated in 2011). She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Christopher Doti, FNP
Chris has been working with Albany IR since 2002. He went to SUNY Utica and received his bachelors and masters while there (graduated in 2002). He is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Allen Herr, MD
Dr. Herr has been working in Albany since 2005 and is an Associate Professor of Radiology. He is presently the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology residency and fellowship training programs at Albany Medical Center. He went to college at Hobart College (graduated in 1986) and medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (graduated in 1990). He completed an internship in Surgery at Mount Sinai and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York in 1995. He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Yale University in 1996. He began his career at Albany Medical Center in 1996 but moved to New Orleans for a few years before returning to Albany in 2005. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Lawrence Keating, MD
Dr. Keating has been working with Albany IR since 2011and is an Assistant Professor of Radiology. He went to college at Boston College in Boston, MA (graduated in 1995) and medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY (graduated in 2005). He completed an internship in Newton-Wellesley in Newton, MA in 2006 and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Tufts Medical Center in 2010. He then completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Brown Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital in 2011. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
JoAnna Maxon, FNP
JoAnna joined our IR practice in 2018. She earned her associates degree in nursing in 2004 from Hudson Valley Community College. She spent 14 years as a Pediatric Intensive Care RN, earning AACN Board Certification in Pediatric Acute Care. JoAnna earned her bachelors degree in 2014 from Excelsior College, followed by a masters degree from Russell Sage College in 2017. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Sharon Ryan, LPN
Sharon has been working with Albany IR since 2007. She went to college at Mary McClellan School of Practical Nursing and received her LPN in 1978. Sharon spends her time in the outpatient office at the Capital Region Health Park in Latham, counseling our patients and helping to arrange and facilitate their care.
Gary Siskin, MD, FSIR
Dr. Siskin has been working in Albany since 1996 and is presently Professor and Chairman of Radiology at Albany Medical Center. He went to college at Union College (graduated in 1986) and medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (graduated in 1990). He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine/Manhattan VA Medical Center in 1991 and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the SUNY Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn in 1995. He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1996. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Nancy Spencer, FNP
Nancy has been working with our practice since 1999. She went to college at Russell Sage College (graduated in 1988) and then received her Masters Degree from Russell Sage in 1997. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Christopher Stark, MD
Dr. Stark has been working with Albany IR since 2017. He earned his undergraduate degree at Union College (graduated 2006) and medical degree at Tulane University (graduated 2011). He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Oschner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA in 2012 and residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Vermont in 2016. He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Albany Medical center in 2017.
